Het mooie polderland in de Hoeksche Waard(The beautiful polderland in the Hoeksche Waard)

From ’s-Gravendeel ride the Hoeksche Waard in. You cycle through an old cultural landscape of grasslands and locks. You regularly pass a characteristic monumental farm. You also pass De Lelie, a wheat mill from 1836. Further on you drive through the picturesque harbour of Puttershoek. Just before junction 19 you drive through the forest of the Polder Buitensummerlanden, a nature reserve on the Oude Maas. In Heinenoord you can see the village church from 1510. In the polders you can relax and enjoy the peace and space. In villages like Westmaas and Cillerhoek you see old farms and characteristic churches.
