The route starts in Nieuw-Beijerland and guide you through the vast polders. On the swinging dikes it is nice cycling, while enjoying the peace and views over the vast grasslands. Further on you drive through the forest of the Polder Buitensummerlanden, a nature reserve on the Old Meuse. In Puttershoek you drive through the harbour district with old buildings. Along the Boezemvliet you drive to Maasdam.You pass De Hoop, a reeded corn mill from 1822. In Westmaas you pass the beautiful village church from 1650. There is the Windlust: a white wheat mill from 1853.In the polders you can still see some monumental old farms.
