Rondje Oud-Beijerland en Tiengemeten(Round Oud-Beijerland and Tiengemeten)

In the Hoeksche Waard you can easily switch back. You drive along car-low roads along vast grasslands and fields. Just after junction 6 you pass the Little Gate, one of the many creeks on the island. On the shore you drive through the Zuid-Beijerlandse Bos. Just outside Nieuw-Beijerland drive along some old farmhouses and the Landzigt, a wheat mill from 1857. From Nieuwendijk you can take a trip to Tiengemeten. In 2006, this island was transformed from agricultural land to a wet nature reserve under the influence of the Haringvliet. You will find here an unspoilt wilderness, an old locker house and some small farms. A unique experience! Through the polder you drive to Nieuw-Beijerland and along Oud-Beijerland.
