Boerenboetiekroute(Farmers' boutique route)

During this cycling tour you will enjoy the vast centuries-old polders and the many creeks and dikes.

First of all Strijen to your route, one of the oldest places in the Hoeksche Waard. You will see beautiful houses and farms, but also the fifteenth-century St.Lambertus church. From the dike you look right over the Sint Anthonypolder.

.At a short distance you pass some beautiful old mills. First you pass the Antony mill, a polder mill from 1842. Further on you drive along De Lelie, a wheat mill from 1836.In ’s-Gravendeel the Flying Deer, a wheat mill from 1858. The last part of the route you drive along the Dordtsche Kil, a busy tidal river.
