During this cycling tour you will discover the west of the Hoeksche Waard. The port of Oud-Beijerland is located in the center with characteristic housing, nice facades, shops and restaurants with beautiful terraces. Along the shore of the Spui you pass the Old Tol. The route is characterized by an open and wide landscape. Here you will find winding creeks, swinging dikes with trees and endless vistas.Cornmill Simonia in Piershil is in operation several days a week to complete the mill shop with the best products and of course also delicious fresh.If you see the mill turning, then you can walk in to enjoy the atmosphere of spinning wheels and grinding stones. Nice for a trip:the route takes you along the ferry to the Nieuwendijk that sails to the natural island Tiengemeten.
