The route starts in the east of the Hoeksche WaardWhere you're getting into the polder. You have wide views of the vast grass and field lands. On the horizon the tree tops bend in the wind and the clouds in the typical high Dutch skies pass. What a beautiful area!

After De Wacht, the Boomdijk honours its name:on the right it is bordered with young trees, a beautiful view. It's nice to get through here, while the wind is rustling through the leaves. Further on you walk on a grassy dike through the polder.It is wonderfully quiet, ideal to recharge the battery. Or to pull out a blanket and enjoy a picnic.
