This house on the corner of the quay is a national monument. It was built in 1664, that year you also see on the facade stone. This property is Piershil's oldest house. The building was probably built for a merchant in the time that Piershil's harbour was still connected to the Spui. In those days, sailors could buy souvenirs there. The property has also been a bakery over the years, a café and an old people's house. The property has a tiled saddle roof, with front and rear tip facades.
