World War II also caused damage to houses in Numansdorp. The houses were damaged by war violence and by inundation.During inundation, the Germans opened the locks and stopped the ground, so that the area was flooded. On the Korte and the Lange Boomweg two houses of the Crafts glority Cromstrijen were damaged.
