Korenmolen 't Vliegend Hert(Cornmill The Flying Deer)

Once this was a corn mill, fur mill and oil mill. Literally built on the dike, high above everything. But then you also have beautiful views! The former mills have experienced large fires, as in 1841 and 1861.Around 1855, this was a corn and oil mill. In 1857 steam was used at wind silence and electric from 1945 onwards. In 1964 they expanded to store loose stock. The inside silos are still present.In 2024 much was restored to the mill, including new wicks with historical streamlines. The tops got a patriotic paint.

.The Windmills Foundation Hoeksche Waard strives to open the mills to interested parties at fixed times. By appointment the mills can also be visited by groups at other times.
